Last week, our firm filed a class action case against Money One Federal Credit Union and a law firm that files its collection lawsuits, Silverman Theologou, LLP. In the case, we claim that Money One, through another company, sent illegal repossession notices to its members after repossessing their cars. Then, Money One and Silverman Theologou illegally tried to collect more money after the cars were sold at auction. The case is Curry v. Money One Federal Credit Union, et al., Case No.: 1:19-cv-03467-CCB. If you have had a car repossessed, call our office at 443-921-8161 and we will talk to you for no charge.
